Duties and
Responsibilities:
Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and company policies.
Load and unload products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, invoices, and signatures.
Interact professionally with customers upon delivery, providing a positive and courteous experience.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate picking and loading of delivery items.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, reporting any issues promptly.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the delivery team.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized delivery vehicle and storage area.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection.
